COMMENCEMENT LITURGY - JUNE 13, 4:00 PM

Graduates and their families are invited to participate in SCU’s Commencement Liturgy, one of the most joyful moments of Commencement Weekend. Worship with fellow graduates and give thanks for the special time at Santa Clara on Friday, June 13 at 4:00 p.m. in SCU's historic Mission Santa Clara de Asís. Please let us know if you intend to join us at the Liturgy by registering here. Tickets are not required for this event, and all are welcome to attend.

GRAD BASH - JUNE 13, 5:30 PM - Learn more about Grad Bash

Join your student, their classmates, family, and the SCU Alumni Association to celebrate the completion of their college journey in true Bronco style!

With your support, Grad Bash will light up Bellomy Field from 5:30–8:30 p.m. immediately following the Commencement Liturgy.

  • Free Admission: Graduates & children 12 and under
  • General Admission: $55 per person (Tickets are free for graduates and $55 for guests)

UNDERGRADUATE COMMENCEMENT - JUNE 14, 8:30 AM 

Santa Clara University will host a single Commencement ceremony for undergraduates in the College of Arts and Sciences, the Leavey School of Business, and the School of Engineering in Stevens Stadium.

COMMENCEMENT REGISTRATION VIA TASSEL

Earlier this week, your students received an email granting them access to SCU’s Commencement registration system, Tassel. Tassel is your student's commencement portal where they will:

• Register to participate
• Confirm the phonetic pronunciation of their name and
• Claim your guest tickets

The deadline for students to register to participate in Commencement is Sunday, May 11 at 11:59 p.m.

If your student is unsure about who their guests will be at this time, please encourage them to register anyway—they can make changes to guest ticket information at a later date.

COMMENCEMENT GUEST TICKETS

As of Monday, April 7, your student can begin registering guests in Tassel. Once a guest is registered, they will receive an email with the guest ticket directly from the Tassel system.

Here’s what you need to know about guest tickets:

• Each graduate will receive eight (8) guest tickets.
  • Graduates can modify guest information for all eight tickets until Thursday, June 12, by logging into their Tassel account.
• Graduates do not need a guest ticket—they will use a Stage Pass to enter and participate in the ceremony. This pass will be scanned before they cross the stage.
• Guest tickets are required for entry into Stevens Stadium.
  • Each ticket has a unique QR code. Duplicate scans of the same QR code will not be accepted.
  • Guests should save a screenshot or bring a printed copy of their ticket(s).
  • We also recommend guests add their tickets to a mobile wallet for quick access.
• If additional tickets are needed, we recommend that students ask classmates who may not be using all of their tickets.
  • Tickets can be easily transferred digitally via Tassel to other graduates.
  • The Commencement Office does not provide extra tickets and does not manage a waitlist for additional tickets.
  • Children two and under do not need a ticket to attend Commencement.

STUDENT ACADEMIC ATTIRE

Academic Attire should be ordered online from Oak Hall Cap & Gown and will be mailed directly to you. The deadline to order attire is Sunday, May 18, to ensure your student receives it in time for their ceremony.

The Commencement ceremony and stage crossing will be live streamed and posted on the Commencement Website.
